The Masters
Arguably the greatest golf tournament, played on one of the most bautiful course in the world.

Lucky enouhg to have been there and watched it.

But who is your money on?

I think Rory will do it this year, a definite good each way bet. Not sure which of the outsiders to go for

Re: The Masters
fuck knows what they gave the patrons/fans at Augusta but it was great seeing them that animated last night. some great scenes, and I'm not sure Sergio will ever hit three better irons again like he did to 15 and twice down 18. that's why its the best major

Re: The Masters
Was brilliant viewing, esp the back 9 - stunning golf from Sergio and Rose!

I've just booked for me and a mate to go to the Masters next year.

4 nights accomm, tkts and hospitality for the Thurs at the Masters, plus 2 rounds of golf at local courses on the Wed and Fri - can't wait!

Does anyone who's been have any tips for which holes are the best for a vantage point, viewing etc?

Cheers

Re: The Masters
Yeah I quite liked it.

Willet was absolutely beaming for his mate, loved seeing how happy he was at seeing Sergio win.

Bloke is clearly an extremely popular bloke, especially amongst his Ryder Cup team mates.

Re: The Masters
oh I don't know AOI, watching SPIETH's GUTTED FACE having to hand over the green jacket to Danny Willett in the Butler cabin last year immediately after he'd finished was a joy to behold.

and on the flip side, seeing Willett and Sergio enjoying it last night was great

Re: The Masters
I must say that the last two days of the Masters were possibly the best weekends TV golf I can remember watching. The Open's going to have trouble following that.
The only thing I'd criticise is Augusta's insistence of doing that strange interview thing they do in the Butler Cabin.
I know they have a presentation in front of the crowd later, but for TV they've got it arse about face.
The presentation of the jacket should come first on the 18th green in front of thousands. Do the interview later.

Re: The Masters
Glued to it all four days. Great comp and had just about everything. I didn't know it was Seve's birthday on Sunday until mentioned on Sky so I had a feeling it may be Sergio's time. I was so pleased for him as he has always been such a great player and I couldn't see him being another Monty and not winning one. I had £5 e/w on him and Rosey so was like a pig in sh!t for once. Sergio at 40/1 and Rosey at 25/1 so the best result possible money wise. I laid out £50 in all and won over £300. I was a bit surprised that all the contenders fell away so quickly but happy days for me. Cheers all.

Re: The Masters
Superb stuff. And to see two blokes high fiving and congratulating their opponents great shots as they went round was top drawer.

I was on the fence. Appreciate should've been cheering the Brit on but I couldn't also help wanting Sergio to win. Has been around forever it seems and he absolutely deserved at least one major.

His shots into the green for the last three holes were just mind blowing.

Both players a credit.

Re: The Masters
Garcia absolutely deserves to win one major, he has been there or there about's for so bloomin long.

Well done to him chuffed.

Re: The Masters
nice touch by kuchar signing his hole in one ball and giving it to the kid, and a nice shot of sergios birds chuff as she went down on her haunches ,when he sunk the winner, saucy bitch

Re: The Masters
Never been so torn on who I wanted to win. Rose as he is an Englishman and Garcia because of the sentiment. Glad Sergio won in the end as Rose will win a few more in the future. Quality respect for both.

Rose is a gentleman, some of these scrum footballers should have a look at how he handles himself and maybe learn something

Re: The Masters
Never thought I'd see the day where I'd be smiling so much after watching 160 quid in winnings go up in smoke.

Willett looked as chuffed as a poof with two arseholes for him.

Our Ryder cup team spirit would appear to be superb.
